About the company
July 2013 marked the opening of our U.S. offices and the start of Duclot La Vinicole in New York. From the beginning, our mission has been to promote the great diversity of our region—Bordeaux—through a dynamic effort based on our long-standing culture of service and extensive stocks of our favorite wines. We in the New York office draw our inspiration from Duclot La Vinicole in Paris, the French restaurant market’s most trusted source for fine Bordeaux. For fifty-two years, Duclot La Vinicole Paris has been sourcing wines directly from the châteaux cellars and building a portfolio that offers breadth in its range of choice—from classified growths to great value ‘Petits-Châteaux’—as well as depth in its selection of recent releases to perfectly matured older vintages. Our objective is nothing less than to become the Bordeaux resource for our partners by replicating the same model: a deep and well-curated range of wines of impeccable provenance at highly competitive prices. In our capacity as a châteaux owner, négociant, importer and distributor at once, we hope to become your direct line to the terroir bordelais. There is much to discover for many. To this end we have opened a Manhattan showroom in which we host regular tastings, winemaker seminars and other special events for our New York restaurant and wine community. As we continue our new adventure here in the U.S., we look forward to meeting all of you and to finding the best ways to help you achieve your goals in this category. We believe that the wines of the Bordeaux region have never been better in terms of quality and that they will find an important place on your lists and on your tables.
