Fine Terroir Selections, founded in 2008, is a fine wine distributor serving liquor stores, restaurants and private country clubs throughout Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. Recently Fine Terroir Selections has extended its market to other states like Colorado, Virginia, Illinois, Washington DC and Maryland by working with other distributors. Focusing on French wines, Fine Terroir is selective in building its product portfolio so that it offers its customers access to wines of only the highest quality. It achieves this by building relationships with small, and often family-owned vineyards that take special pride of ownership in the production of their wines. As an extension of its selective approach, Fine Terroir maintains its product line-up at a strategically limited size and range that ensures no individual wine is overshadowed or directly competing with another product and instead, each wine plays a complementary role in the overall portfolio. Fine Terroir’s sales representatives’ have a sophisticated depth and breadth of knowledge and take the time to fully understand and appreciate the unique differentiators of every wine they represent. Their expertise has been developed as a result of many years of collective experience across multiple facets of the wine, liquor and food and beverage industries. Fine Terroir believes in a relationship approach across all aspects of its business. Fine Terroir works closely with vineyards, including regularly hosting visiting company representatives on organized sales tours and at wine tasting events.
