About the company
Incorporated in 1967 as a wholesale beer and wine distributor in Asheville, North Carolina, our company founder, Mr. Frank Sinkwich Sr., was a Heisman Trophy winner at the University of Georgia. It was with equal dedication that he sought to build and expand Skyland Distributing into the company it is today. Now in its third generation, Skyland Distributing is a premier distributor of fine wines and imported, domestic and craft beers. With one central warehouse location in western North Carolina, our primary distribution area includes 38 counties in western North Carolina. Included within these counties is also the greater Charlotte area for which our dedicated sales and delivery teams now service for additional craft beer and premium wine brands. It is the goal of Skyland Distributing to provide for our suppliers and customers the best possible distribution and competitive pricing available in our marketing areas. We strive to maintain and continually educate a knowledgeable staff, in which to further the sales of high quality, premium brands that we represent.
