SHAKARA is a 12 year-old tropically aged Thai rum that pays tribute to the long history of the culture of sugarcane in South East Asia.
Thailand is one of the largest growers of sugarcane in the world - along with Brazil. Shakara is produced and aged in the central province of Nakhon Pathom, a fertile region with a humid, tropical climate that greatly enhances the concentration of flavors in the spirit during its long aging process.
