We DO get a kick out of Champagne. Sorry Frank. What beverage is more festive or fun to drink (quiet down Mezcal, we’ll get you in a moment)? Be it the texture, the racy acidity, or the memorizing dance of the perlage, Champagne is exciting! In isolation, nearly every well-crafted fizz tastes great. However, not all are created equally. It can be hard to distinguish until you line them all up and let them strut their stuff. So that’s what we’re doing. We’re breaking out every Champagne we import so you can “evaluate” them and prepare for the Fall selling season.
This party is not limited to just Champagne. In addition to opening every single sparkling wine we sell, we’re also having a full-fledged craft spirits portfolio tasting. These two categories go together, figuratively, and sometimes literally. In the past three years we’ve gone from being just a purveyor of fine brandies to a complete one-stop-shop for all your distillate needs. Because spirits production is not limited by latitude, we’re having folks visit from all over the world. From Guyana, to Oaxaca, to Kentucky, we’re going to have every bottle of hooch we sling open for your tasting pleasure. Eat a big breakfast, maybe two of them.

Skurnik Wines and Spirits is an independent, family-owned importer and distributor of fine wines, spirits, sake, & cider headquartered in the heart of New York City. We taste, select, and offer for sale to the trade a high-quality, diversified portfolio from around the world.
The story of Skurnik Wines began in 1987 when Michael started the business with just a handful of relatively unknown wineries. Today, the company represents over 800 estates, most of which are family-owned-and-operated. We are the local distribution partner for these brands in eight direct markets: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and California. Beyond our distribution footprint, we also are a national importer for almost 200 brands to distributors in all 50 states.
