About ASV Wines
With four generations of California farming, the Zaninovich family’s agricultural roots span nearly a century. First establishing a thriving business as cultivators of grapevines and fresh table grapes in California’s San Joaquin Valley, they turned their expertise to wine grape growing and production. Captivated by the raw beauty and exceptional potential of the undiscovered Arroyo Seco in Monterey County, they became early wine pioneers in the region. Starting with the acquisition of Suter, the home ranch vineyard in 1971, Arroyo Seco Vineyards was created, expanding to other growing areas with the purchase of Zanetta Ranch in 1988 and Wiley Ranch in 1998. ASV Wines, Inc. was founded in 1982 to produce and market wines from Arroyo Seco Vineyards, as well as from top growers in wine regions across California, including Lodi and the San Joaquin Valley. Today under the leadership of Andrew Zaninovich, the company produces a wide array of brands, with wines ranging from single vineyard designates to popularly priced varietals. The company is also the leading grower of organic premium varietals. Working closely with the nation’s top retailers and distributors, ASV Wines draws on vineyard, winemaking, and production expertise to produce outstanding quality wines that deliver exceptional value.
