Online Ordering with SevenFifty

Ordering on SevenFifty is more than just an online shopping cart—it’s a management system for creating and tracking all your orders with different distributors. The platform leverages your existing email workflow with your reps and makes creating, managing, and sending orders more efficient, organized, and precise.

Step 1: Create a new draft order

Once you've logged into SevenFifty, click the new “Orders” tab from the navigation bar at the top of your screen. To get started, make sure to read and accept the terms and conditions at the bottom of the page and hit “Submit”.

From the orders page, you can create your first order by clicking “New order” or by adding any product via the cart icon. Once you add a product, a draft order for the distributor who carries that product will be created. If the distributor is not yet on SevenFifty, you can manually enter their name to start the draft order. That way, you can use SevenFifty for all your orders.

Step 2: Search products & add items to a draft order

Whether you know exactly what you need or want to browse products and find something new, SevenFifty’s Online Ordering tool will help you create your order with ease. Based on your needs, there are several ways to create orders:

Quick Add:

Already know what you want to order? The Quick Add bar makes it easy to add any item directly to your cart. Start typing any product name in the Quick Add bar on the Orders tab and items that match your search term will automatically appear. Simply click on any item to add to your draft orders. This enables you to create order with speed and efficiency, while automatically providing your rep with all the necessary product information from the SevenFifty database.

Are you looking for a new product or want to order a product from one of your tasting sheets? Any place you can view products on SevenFifty, you can now also add them to your order drafts. This includes your lists, tasting sheets, search results, and individual product pages.

It’s also easy to create an order from any of your past orders or drafts. From any draft order, click the “Order history” tab to view all of your previously ordered products from that distributor. From there it’s as easy as a few clicks to add products from your order history to your current draft and edit quantities.

Step 3: Review & finalize your order

To send the order to your rep, go to your draft orders tab, click “Review & Finalize”. This opens an email composer which enables you to create an email and send it to your rep. This process works just like any email communication, except that your order email contains all the detailed information about the product like its SKU / item code, vintage, size format, and delivery instructions. In addition, your order history is stored on SevenFifty, making re-orders even easier.

To edit the message to your distributor rep, click the “to” field and find your rep's email or manually enter their email. You can also CC other people at your establishment (like an assistant buyer) so they’re included on the correspondence with the rep. Additionally, you can easily edit the pre-written message to include any further instructions, special requests, or to personalize the communication.

Finally, select the delivery date, review your order, and press send. An email with all the order details will be sent to your rep.
