Quick Guide: SevenFifty for Suppliers
Welcome to the first version of SevenFifty for Suppliers.
The initial version of the platform includes the following core features: Browse, Distributor Search, Lists, and Suggest Corrections. These features will enable you to view the complete product portfolios of distributors across 30+ states and published wholesale pricing for your products and the competitive set. This document is to help you get started with using those features.
Browse
Browse is a powerful tool for exploring and segmenting SevenFifty’s massive database of wine, spirits, and beer. The Browse feature enables you to do deep research into your competitive set and provides an unprecedented level of transparency into which distributors carry what products and can help you identify opportunities within untapped markets.
The Browse feature resembles the tool that distributors and buyers use on SevenFifty, except for one key difference: suppliers can toggle between any state on SevenFifty, while buyers and distributors only have visibility into the states in which they operate. To toggle to a different state, click the icon in the upper right corner that shows the current state you are browsing:
There are two methods you can use to find the product or product category you are looking for:
Keyword search:
Search for any product or word and SevenFifty will find all products that match that description within the state you have selected. You will be able to find out which distributor carries the product, whether it is in stock (if the distributor has linked their inventory tracking software with SevenFifty), frontline price, and much more.
Filter search:
Filter enables you to sort by many product categorizations and attributes so you can segment in countless ways. You’ll be able to see exactly how your product would fit into the competitive landscape and where may be opportunities for your product’s appellation, grape variety, or price range. Some filters include: Distributor, Producer, Appellation, Raw material (Grape variety), Frontline price.
Distributor Search
In addition to browsing and searching products, SevenFifty for Suppliers also enables you to search specific Distributor profiles. You can browse their entire portfolio, and determine whether they would be a fit for your brand or product.
If you want to connect with a distributor, all their contact info is listed on their profile page. This is a great way to find the right market and distributor for your products.
Lists
SevenFifty makes it easy for you to create and share detailed product lists. Buyers and distributors use Lists in a number of ways such as tracking tastings and showing off new additions to their portfolio. Suppliers with products listed on SevenFifty can now create lists as well. Some benefits include:
- Show a potential distributor partner how your portfolio fits into the competitive set.
- Track reactions to items presented during market visits.
- Follow up with sales reps and buyers.
- Create market-specific sales materials.
Suggest Corrections To Your Product Listing
SevenFifty enables you to suggest edits and updates to your products' descriptions so that you remain in control of how your brand appears on SevenFifty. Doing this will ensure all information is accurate and consistent across different markets when accessed by buyers and distributors. If you update product information for one state, your product description will automatically update for all states where your product is distributed.
On your product's detail page you can click "Suggest a correction" and a member of our team will update your product listing across all markets. Please keep in mind that this may take up to a few days because all descriptions are manually updated on our end to ensure high-quality product detail pages.
